a national early childhood education program through the University of Pittsburgh

Jumpstart Pittsburgh is an AmeriCorps program with the goal of supporting children's language, literacy, and social-emotional skills by partnering with local preschool centers in the Pittsburgh area. Our program's focus is to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten! We do so by engaging the children with fun activities, reading books, and creating a positive learning environment.
